This abstract geometric design is the first pattern in a pattern collection dedicated to circles. I love creating geometric designs, but I wanted to go in a completely new direction this time. Most of my other geometric work has featured perfectly defined and arranged figures. This pattern, however, has a much looser, fun vibe to it. The design features 2 images: one for products filled with a repeating pattern (throw pillows, coffee mugs, etc.) and another image, which looks great as a standalone image, used for t-shirts, posters, etc. The pattern offers the eye a series of interest or focal points, and all of the figures used in the pattern are created, from circles. These circles are not perfectly drawn, they were not meant to. The whole aesthetic of the design is bold, playful and messy.
