Pi, probably one of the most famous symbols and numbers in all the realm of mathematics. We all know it starts with 3.141592, right? But you have to dig a little deeper than that to capture its beauty and mystery. You can calculate Pi by dividing a circle’s circumference by its diameter. Simple, right? Well, there’s more than meets the eye. Pi is an irrational number. This means that it cannot be expressed as a fraction. And, it also means that when Pi is represented as a decimal, it never ends and never settles into a repeating pattern. Not so simple now! I simply love how a seemingly simple division can also be so incredibly complex. It is extremely helpful in many areas of geometry, and math in general, and a true math geek must show his or her love for Pi.
This design boldly features π in red, encircled in blue. The true fun in the design, however, comes from the fact that the first 10,000 digits of Pi have been written in the design itself. This means that you can wear the first 10,000 digits on Pi on a t-shirt, or put it up on your bedroom as an art print. If you’re a true geek, and want to showcase your love for math, you know you have to have this product. You can buy this design on my Design By Hümans store. You’ll also find other fun, geeky designs there, so explore!
The first 10,000 digits of Pi is available as:
- Tank tops
- Baseball tees
I included images of some of these products on the post, on black. However, you can also change colors and sizes to really make the design your own.
